Eco-effective products inspired by Nature For the first time in Europe, a product from the cleaning industry – the Frosch Citrus Shower and Bath Cleaner – received the ambitious award Cradle to Cradle Cer- tified TM Gold in June 2013. Since then the award has been given to a complete line of Frosch products. The Cradle to Cradle ® recycling principle was invented by Dr. Michael Braungart and further developed by the Environmental Protection Encouragement Agency (EPEA) in Hamburg. The selected Frosch brand cleaner was subjected to a thorough analysis for certification purposes. Cradle to Cradle ® Design includes a detailed evaluation key to assess the materials used, their recyclability, use of energy and water and the social impact of product cycles and methods of production. For nearly 30 years the environmental impact of the formulas and packaging for our Frosch brand products has been optimized continuously.
